If a Cleaner or Manager doesn’t know what to do or how to do it how can we expect them to deliver fantastic service? That is why from induction through to tool box talks training plays a critical role in the ongoing development of our employees. It also gives us many other benefits.

Keeping up with change: 

The workplace is changing fast, new laws are introduced on a regular basis and we ensure our employees are fully updated on any changes that could affect them and the roles that they undertake for us.

Improved morale and staff retention:   

Investing in our staff demonstrates that we recognise and value them. Staff will often leave because they don’t know what is expected of them. We are committed to reducing turnover of staff and training is one important tool that we use.

Induction Training

Training of employees starts from the first day that they start working for the Company, irrespective of their
previous experience. All employees must receive induction in accordance with the Company procedure and
may only work on their own once this has been completed. The induction procedure incorporates:

Ongoing Training
We believe that investment in training leads to better staff retention, greater commitment and increased productivity. This in turn, produces high standards and continually satisfied clients.

All training is documented and company training guides are in place for all technical skills to ensure a
consistent approach.

All managers receive regular feedback on their work and at every appraisal we discuss individual training
and development needs.
